I love Genshin, but they release way too many new characters too fast and they don’t even give the proper rewards. You would need to get them while other games will release new character and will give you quite a bit of rewards to help fund the polling

I think it's not that simple. Both games have ups and downs but revenue is always an indicator for Player popularity. If they weren't statisfyed they wouldn't put money into it. To take revenue as a metric to compare games success is sensible but if the discussion is about which game is better or what aspect needs to change than it's a shit metric that doesn't do anything besides deflecting.
