i actually like how rarity ended up alone! it’s a great contrast to her at the beginning of the series, she would wish and chase after a “Prince Charming” (her male love interests) and learned like to be independent

twilight is immortal so i think it’s for the best in her case but rarity’s story is beautiful to me because even though she wished through the entire show to fall in love, those little love stories she had were surface level at best. you could tell she just loved the idea of being in a relationship. her ending isn’t about her falling in love with someone else, it’s about her learning to love herself. not her ego she has about herself throughout the story, but truly just loving and being comfortable with herself. the next step for her is finding a partner if she chooses, but you can’t skip the first step as she tried doing the whole time.
