Have you tried the Geely ex5? I test drove it 3 times amongst jaecoo J5 (not bougie enough for me), J7, loved it but ended up deciding on full EV , byd was too expensive for me but Geely was perfect. I get mine in 2 weeks!

As a car guy, PLEASE don’t buy them. Pls buy a Mazda or Toyota if u actually want something reliable.

Definitely no cherry they are horrible cars . Jaycoo is average but if you want a safe , reliable & long lasting car stick with Mazda's, Toyotas & some Kia's

I have a Kia ev5 that I adore and haven’t had any issues! As a fellow gong gal, We went through harrigan kia not gateway as they were shocking to deal with!

idk if you've picked already but we got a chery e5 and some things I don't like about it are - it's awkward for passengers to change music volume, it's deep in the settings on the screen for no damn reason which frustrates me when my partners driving and talking and I literally have to lean over him to the steering wheel to turn it down lol and the seat warmer buttons in the back!!! I have 3 kids with two in car seats and they are constantly being turned on 😭 (other than that love the drive, my partner uses it for his daily commute and we travel 600km every 2-3 months to see his parents it does great and cost about $100 in charging for the whole trip)

I have the chery e5 and absolutely love it!! I do quite a bit of city driving and only charge once a week. It’s super comfortable and smooth to drive, love the sound system as well. It’s also a sexy looking car. I wish I could afford an electric Volvo but this was a great option.

The benefit of the E5 is that it has a full size spare, the other doesn’t have a spare tyre. The E5 has a Sony stereo, and more driving range. The J5 looks cool though.
