I have literally spent my thirties clawing my way back to something that was mine from the start— a deeper, bigger, meaningful connection 🥹 That’s the part of this story I keep sitting with. Remember what got buried😭 So when my son told me grandpa visits him in his dreams — and then picked him out of a photo from decades before he was born — I wasn’t just amazed. I felt this overwhelming love and quiet grief for the version of me who had that same access at his age and lost it🤍 I’m refuse to let that happen to him. So I keep asking. Has anyone visited you lately? What did you guys do? Who else was there? Not to lead him. Just to keep the door open.
