As a constant movie goer, I didn’t enjoy it. Obviously everyone’s open to their own opinion, but I thought I was boring. There were parts in the movie were the main characters would be in earshot, and all the bad guys would just… not see or hear them?? Some parts didn’t make any sense. Why did the aliens choose Maragret and Daniel? What was the ancient thing Maragret would hold?? Why did it turn them invisible? There’s so many unanswered questions. The movie length was also ridiculous. I have a good attention span, but almost 3 hours for barely anything??? It’s INSANE. Some GOOD things about the movie is that, it’s quite comedic, I enjoyed the ending, the news part was cool. And… that’s about it. The animals looked like CGI, the aliens looked humorous. It was a 4/10 at best. Not to mention the Disney ass “cinematic” music that played in every scene. Give me a break.

people don’t get the message of the movie that’s why they think it’s garbage. yes the story itself was not super strong and there were some plotholes but i think these plotholes are intentional and you gotta look behind the story to get the message it tries to convey.
