Now available in ENGLISH, FRENCH, GERMAN, BAHASA INDONESIA, SPANISH, ARABIC, MANDARIN, RUSSIAN and HINDI. Join the immense community of parents we have helped built a stronger and healthier baby! Struggling with tummy time? 👶 Your baby gets frustrated fast, collapses, and you worry you haven't done enough? It never looks efficient and you spend ages chasing the targets you read about online? Let's talk about what your baby can actually do, so you can aim higher, worry free. ✨ Babies are born with 2 crucial reflexes: the neck and lumbar reflexes. They are ignited during birth, under a normal range of constraints the body can absorb: baby's head passes under the pubic bones and the neck arches back, while the lumbar spine activates on the way out. What you were never told is that the neck reflex depends on the lumbar reflex. The key is the lumbar reflex. 🔑 So you have to place baby in a position where he can fully and freely use his lumbar spine: the "tiger in a tree hold", which I call "octopus off the sea" 🤣. Baby is calm and unconstrained, the lumbar and the whole body are stretched, he can look around, tummy nicely soothed on your forearm. He gently contracts his back and neck each time he moves, with nothing for you to manage. Like this you can easily carry baby 3-5h minimum throughout the day, instead of facing you. It is enough to strengthen his back and neck. Try it for a week and you'll see the progress. For a little more fun, play the plane 🛩️. It's an easy way to calm them down, and you can arch the back even more, activating even more leverage on the neck. They can hold it pretty long and it's far more interactive with the family than watching them struggle on the bed. Which hold works best for your little one?
