That is one of the most important secrets to passing the driving test. Don't tell anyone , and then they can't give you any useless information that confuses you on the run up to your test. Trying to be helpful , but given you scare stories , not helpful. Congratulations

congratulations girl!! this is what I did i didnt tell anyone including my husband about my test. and then I passed 1st time and just showed up at his work with my certificate. video called everyone else to show them and then I surprised my kids by picking them up from school (mind you I was 28 this was September last year)

I highly recommend everyone doing this , I did this and it helped me so much because I didn’t worry about failing because no one knew so the pressure of failing and everyone knowing was gone it really helps

another helpful tip for your driving test. a lot of us when we go to take our test tell us tell ourselves how hard it's going to be in a bad way you're gonna do. we are potentially rehearsing failing. my final student before I retired around five weeks ago was very nervous failed his theory to eight times because of dyslexia and had zero confidence. when I asked him how he felt about his test he said he was bricking it. I told him he was rehearsing how he was going to feel on the day. so he did what I am going to tell you to. on the build up your test this is easy and simple to do. the best time is when you just got into bed at night. relax and do a rehearsal of your test in a positive way. simply by just running through the day of the test and everything is perfect. I wake up feel great confident ready for the day. have a nice breakfast feel good go out on my hour before the test lesson and everything goes well and I feel confident and I'm reassure myself I know everything I need to know. get to the test centre feel confident, relaxed and examiner is very nice. we go for a drive and everything goes well and I get back and he gives me a pass certificate. repeat this as many days you can. then add more detail to doing the maneuvers,a roundabout that you do not really like but if you get the theory into your head while you will do in the real world. repeat this with more details each day as many times as you can. then add in a few curveballs like you start to muck up your maneuver and explain to yourself how you're gonna get out of it but you always end up passing. you will feel more confident about what you're doing on the day. keep adding more curveballs in and more solutions. other than that I always tell my students before they started their test just drive and don't fear the consequences I never judge how you are doing just get on with it. my first wife said before she went for her test you either pass or you fail. am I used to say, the worst scenario is if you are prepared for your test is your get back and fail you will be kicking yourself because you could have done it if you just had a bit more belief in yourself. good luck everybody.

Was it your first time taking the test? If you passed first time you’re generally and genuinely a good driver. There’s ppl who fail multiple times remind yourself of that 😭
