@sokoroh254: THE COUNTRY HAS BEEN SOLD Guys as we were busy politicing and catching bullets left right and centre, parliament passed the GOVERNMENT OWNED ENTERPRISES ACT 2025 Do you know what that bill has done? Its given the presidency a through pass to privatise 63 parastatals without going back to parliament! Without seeking even public participation! You know what, of the 63 parastatals, 18 have already gone! Have you seen government parastatals change names and add LIMITED at the end? It means they have been privatised. Privately the shares have been sold to foreign and local companies, they will later list the same at NSE and reap the profits when the prices go up. Imagine a parastatal like Kenya Railways, all the land is gone! Kenya Seed Company! The kind of colonisation coming to be fall us is worse that the 1900 Wake up from your slumber #kenyantiktok
I don't understand what are the Mps doing in parliament

If we hold our representatives accountable it will never matter who wins the election coz haja ya wananchi ni good governance and good services.A single person at the top can't fix Kenya. True change starts with the legislature. The MPs / MCAs we elect are the ones with the power to:
• Pass or reject laws
• Approve or block appointments
• Summon and question anyone in government from CSs / CECs to CEOs of public bodies
• Impeach the president/ governors, deputy, or any public official who fails the people
That’s why politicians fight tooth and nail for numbers in Parliament/county assemblies. The Executive survives or collapses on the floor of the House. That’s why you see bribery, lobbying, and manipulation during key votes because even the president / governors can’t function without MPs/MCAs.
Kenya doesn’t need a "strong president/governors” it needs a strong Parliament/county assembly, backed by an informed, bold electorate.
Siri ni numbers. Let’s take Parliament/county assemblies. Let’s fix Kenya from the ground up.
