Frankly up until recently this bothered me too. As an Indian who grew up in 2000s India, I don’t understand why the queue culture is so bad. But upon studying I realised it’s the residual of years of invasions and the fact that up until 1990s India was closed off to the world. Which means people have lived in scarcity, as in if I didn’t go first I wouldn’t get it. and scarcity mindset is hard to let go. But hopefully the newer generation educates themselves more
