Shielding is so free without stunning, you hold right click and it’s basically a free hit. Shield stunning lets there be at least some risk when shielding and allows for cool tech like stun webbing or lavaing

u dont need a double click mouse at all to shield stun + stuns and shieldplay have a much higher skill ceiling compared to no stuns as no stuns allows u to just spam auto hit making basically every shield gamemode a game of cat and mouse theres a reason that stuns are kept on these pvp servers as stuns are a core mechanic to combat in the tierlist kits and if you cant stun its honestly just a skill issue

before stuns were discovered axe was the worst gamemode because you auto hit run repeat it lead to people just holding their Shield in eachothers faces

While I do agree, the same also applies for attribute swapping, lunge swapping is a LOT harder on a cheaper mouse than a good one(yes ive tested it)

Minecraft never had stuns in vanilla, it was actually a bug In paper and was made toggleable in 1.20.6

I don’t agree with this because to call stunning pay to win is the same as comparing a computer capped at 60 fps to a computer with 500 fps. There are still great players playing with low fps, but I’ll guarantee you right now majority of top players have high fps, but the top players with low fps figure out a way to adapt. Same thing with stunning. If you were to learn and adapt without double click stunning and create a playstyle off that then you can become a top player. I’ve seen many great players like Flowtives and I think Rozacks that don’t stun and are still tier 2 level. So it’s just a matter of if you want to learn how to work around your constraints and work on what you have right now.
