People can feel sorry for Jax if they want to, but I certainly don't. He made the choice to run away from home and be homeless, he made the choice to push everyone away despite being told time and time again that opening up is a good thing, he made the choice to abuse people, he made all these bad choices and I do not feel the least bit sorry for him regardless of why he did those things and what he's been through. Same deal with Bojack except it never feels like the show is glamorizing his bad decisions

my hot take, whole show couldve been saved if jax had abstracted at the end of episode 6, we grapple with his death in episode 7 and hes just occasionally mentioned in episodes 8-9 cause his nonsense was the least interesting thing going on after Caine crashed out but were still stuck with him. His character flattened after episode six, every thing he did could've been more interesting with any other character. one of the best pieces of advice i recieved in writing circles is kill your darlings- once a character distracts from the plot its time to get rid of them and i hope gooseworks learns this
