That's me!! I tell my children the same thing!! My oldest son told me he was grown and could handle keeping his SS card and birth certificate. He went to the DMV and lost his papers THE SAME DAY!!! 😏

I told my daughter absolutely not, you leave it here. Fianlly after 5 years I said take it. Who loses all of it, yep her. Then I have to drag my ass to the Health department to help get a birth certificate!!! She lost every legal document she had, served her right.Oh and her kids Im rasing them.🥴

I have 4 grown children gave them their documents at 18 can you guess how many times they called saying they lost them and could I get them new ones? So many that they started recognizing me at the birth certificate and ss offices

My son lost his school id after he begged me for it to get a ticket for a dance I told him don’t lose it and give it back right after he said he’s grown and had a wallet he can carry it one day one dam day later he lost it make that make sense and than said why did u even give it to me u know I’m a kid and lose things 😒😒😒😒
