I hate how they cut out so many of her scenes in the senate it would've been so good to see a more balanced portrayal and see the power of politics within the war like they did in the clone wars series.

THIS is how she should’ve been portrayed throughout all 3 movies!!! Her character completely changed and was made so overly hopeless and passive in episode 3. Phantom Menace Padmé would’ve had much more of a backbone during Anakin’s crisis.

i read once (and i think this is canon) that her voice as queen was created so that her body doubles could also replicate the voice, to give them even more protection. I love hearing the difference in her voice as queen amidala and her voice as padmé.
