⁨ في هذا الفيلم الوثائقي القصير نوثّق اللحظات المفصلية التي سبقت إعلان قيام دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة، مستندين إلى ما وثقته الصحافة من يوميات ومجريات المفاوضات الأخيرة، وصولًا إلى 18 يوليو 1971، اليوم الذي اتخذ فيه الوالد المؤسس وإخوانه الحكام، رحمهم الله، العهد بالاتحاد، فوقعوا وثيقة الاتحاد والدستور المؤقت، وأعلنوا اسم دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة إيذانًا بقيامها في الثاني من ديسمبر 1971. وقد صُوِّرت أجزاء من الفيلم بكاميرا Bolex H16 SBM، وهي كاميرا سينمائية بقياس 16 ملم طُرحت عام 1970، لإضفاء طابع بصري يحاكي روح تلك الحقبة التاريخية. In this short documentary, we capture the pivotal moments leading up to the declaration of the Union, drawing on contemporary newspaper coverage that documented the events and final negotiations. The film culminates on 18 July 1971, the day the Founding Father and his fellow Rulers, may they rest in peace, pledged their commitment to the Union by signing the Union Document and the Provisional Constitution, and announcing the name of the United Arab Emirates, paving the way for its official establishment on 2 December 1971. Parts of the film were shot using a Bolex H16 SBM, a 16 mm motion picture camera introduced in 1970, to create a visual style that evokes the spirit of that historic era. #يوم_عهد_الاتحاد⁩
