One of the main reasons for having a video doorbell is to be able to see who is at your door whilst you are away from the house. To be able to capture recordings of people who approach your property and where necessary communicate with them. The device you are plugging fails to do any of that. It is only useful if you are at home when someone approaches your property and you could save your money by simply looking out the window.
