its called a DIESEL ENGINE RUNAWAY it happens when a diesel engine starts to burn oil instead of fuel. Diesel runaway is when a diesel engine starts speeding up uncontrollably and keeps running even after the ignition is turned off, usually because it's burning engine oil or another fuel source. It can cause severe engine damage if not stopped quickly."

it sometimes also happens in tvs max motorcycles, the engine keeps running even if the ignition is stopped. I also faced it one time, very terrifying sound and stopping it was also another challenge. i disconnected the carburettor and the plug points but it kept alarming, not until i accidentally closed the air inlet and it stopped.

that is called engine run-away caused by blocked turbo air intake. the engine sucks engine oil into the combustion and runs on it as fuel.

That's when oil goes into the turbo inter cooler,,,the engine will continue revveing till it seizes 🤝

This is so common mostly when some of the passengers is having misunderstanding with the driver or conductor and it can cause the increase of price to the innocent passengers
