I’m a scientist, and know Celsius well, but Fahrenheit is actually more precise, because there’s more degrees Fahrenheit per degree Celsius. Kelvin is the one true scale, though.

This is a great take. Farheinheit feels right. Like 100 degrees is hot and anything beyond that is just out of the question. 80s sounds nice. 70s is pleasant. It turns weather into a vibe scale.

Water doesn’t always boil at 100c. It can change based on your altitude and sea level. Fahrenheit can actually be more accurate when it comes to everyday temperatures.

Fahrenheit was also crated by a scientist. but they didn't use absolutely pure water, it used a freezing brine solution which, due to the salt content froze at a lower temperature, which was used as 0. this scale helps to avoid negative numbers in colder climates and in most places you wont break 100f by much.

My AC was set at 73. I changed it to 72 and it was perfect. But yes- 90 is 90% hot, 110 is 110% hot.

It’s a misconception we don’t use Celsius, because we actually use both systems in the US. For example we use the metric system in any application of science. It’s not like we don’t know how to use it. We are taught it in school for scientific purposes (reports and research).

Celsius isn't even the metric standard, that's Kelvin that makes more sense for science. Fahrenheit is more precise and better for humans

With F you get more accurate temps. 22C can be 71F or 72F or 73F. There is a huge difference between 71F and 73F imo.
