Paracord is nice and strong but stretches and absorbs water, making it heaving and potentially rotting. I use Paracord for a lot but for this type of thing I'd use Tar zcosted Bank line. It's water proof, wont stretch and is more slip resistant than Paracord. No one cord does it all. So be prepared.
