Ingredients * 1½–2 lbs shaved ribeye steak * 1 green bell pepper, diced * 1 small onion, diced * 8 oz sliced mushrooms (optional) * 3 cloves garlic, minced * 1½ cups uncooked jasmine rice, rinsed * 4 cups low-sodium beef broth * 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce * 1 tsp onion powder * 1 tsp garlic powder * 1 tsp paprika * 1 tsp kosher salt * ½ tsp black pepper * 2 cups shredded provolone cheese * Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish) Directions 1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray. 2. Add the rinsed rice, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper to the baking dish. Stir until well combined. 3. Evenly scatter the diced bell pepper, onion, mushrooms (if using), and minced garlic over the rice mixture. 4. Separate the shaved ribeye and spread it evenly over the vegetables so it isn’t clumped together. 5. Cover the dish tightly with aluminum foil and bake for 45-50 min, or until the rice is tender and most of the liquid has been absorbed. 6. Remove the foil and gently stir the steak into the rice. 7. Sprinkle the shredded provolone evenly over the top and return to the oven, uncovered, for 5–10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted. 8. Garnish with fresh parsley, if desired, and serve warm. Notes * If your rice needs a little more time, stir in ¼–½ cup hot beef broth, cover, and bake for another 10–15 minutes. * Shaved ribeye gives this casserole the best Philly cheesesteak flavor, but shaved beef works great too. * For an extra cheesy casserole, use a combination of provolone and mozzarella.#fyp #recipes #dinner
