Go to Settings → Terms & Privacy → Privacy Choices → Terms & Conditions → Privacy Policy → untick Viewing Information Services and Internet-Based Advertisements Service Privacy Notice. What you just turned off is Samsung’s ACR — Automatic Content Recognition. That’s the system that can analyse what’s on your screen, match it against a database, build a viewing profile, and use that data for targeted ads. Some ACR systems have been reported capturing up to 7,200 screen samples per hour and here’s the part nobody tells you: software updates can quietly change or reset privacy settings.
