The flag-off ceremony, held at the Ribadu Auditorium NDA Afaka, Kaduna, on Monday 1 June 2026, reflects the shared commitment of both institutions to combating climate change, curbing desert encroachment and preserving the environment for future generations. In his welcome address, the Commandant NDA, Major General Oluyemi Thomas Olatoye, described the initiative as timely, strategic and highly commendable.
