I’ve spent years, all throughout my life even into adulthood wondering and worrying about what happened to my puppy after I lost him. Respectfully, please do not listen to anyone in the comments saying that you need to give her space in the crate and to come and go. The best thing you can do is frequent potty breaks and praise/ give the Penelope a treat when she goes outside. At this stage of the pups life a smaller crate is better. She will get tired of going in her crate (lying by her business) and eventually will prefer outside.

As someone with a golden retriever. Take her outside every 2 hours...especially at night. Wake up and do the work. She will be potty trained in 2 weeks. TWO WEEKS.

I would make it smaller if you can. She just needs room to stand up, sit down, and lay down. Usually they won’t use the bathroom where they have to lay. I love Penn content 🥰
