One day people MAY realize that the turret doesn’t turn with the turret basket. The turret basket turns WITH the turret. The turret basket has no function regarding the turret turning. It’s an artificial nerf by Gaijin. Nerfs for realism is annoying but kinda understandable. But artificial nerfs is just ridiculous. Especially when it’s not needed.

the way this is modelled is very accurate, the power cables coming from the bottom turntable is correct the only real issue here is that if the turntable gets hit it will kill its horizontal traverse, while yes damage to this would make it unsafe to travel it still could, but if those cables are hit it will stop all power from the hull going to the turret. now without adding its back up power system this is rather correct

If you look at the X-Ray. you notice the turret basket has 2 parts...what you see, IS THE UPPER PART OF IT

well its definitely not going to be connected when the turret is being disassembled. And even if it is just a platform there has to be a connection to it that turns it with the turret.

It has a turret basked but it’s inside the hull. The thing on the turret you se is a part of the turret ring.
