bc not only is it aesthetically pleasing to the eyes, it’s the fact that the historical setting itself has lot of social/societal/political/technological restrictions that brings a lot of hardships — so i would really FEEL how intense and deeply obsessed they are just to be with each other 😭

im very picky with modern cdramas like i need that shi to be interesting in the first eps or else id drop it in a heartbeat whilst with historical dramas, im more lenient and give it few chances… 😂
