I was put on birth control at 12 because I was bleeding out for over a month straight and fainting daily. the stretch marks it gave me from weight gain before I was even a teenager ruined my image of myself.

I’ve NEVER been overweight but still managed to get a bunch of stretch marks on my thighs when I hit puberty. They never went away I still have them, but it’s much more common than you think

For anyone insecure about stretch marks, I have been skinny my entire life and I have them. They can literally happen to anybody with a functioning body. I hope you learn to love them and yourself 🧘♀️I like my stretch marks, as a kid they reminded me of tigers haha

everyone saying ‘xyz will get rid of them’ no.. nothing will get rid of them because they are scars. change colors over time, sure, but they will always be there because the tissue is stretched and has healed over that way and that is ok 🙂↕️
