Hi there! I work in surgical specialty for small animals, we use help em up harnesses all the time! For smaller/medium dogs I always tell owners to attach a leash to the back end of the harness that way you can easily assist with walking without having to be hunched over!

the fact that Darla is taking on the role Simon generally has makes me want to cry so much. They both need each other. I hope she goes with you to the new home just even for Simon. I know you can't keep her with Simon and helping others but she seems to really be there for him while they are working through his stuff medically. whatever family gets Darla is going to be so incredibly lucky.

Hey! As a veterinary nurse in surgery who does a lot of orthopedic surgeries and post op care, the help em up is incredible! I would suggest tighten both the front and the back a bit more to provide more support and to put less strain on his lumbar spine. But Simon is doing great and y’all are epitome of wonderful pet parents we love to see in practice! All the love and support from TN 💕
