the fact that watu wengi wanaensankwa church for music and sermons it doesn't means it's right even if it was said by a priest. We don't go for mass to quench our feelings. we go for mass to participate in the Pascal mystery. Mass is mass even without a sermon and songs in between.

My little thoughts... there's a difference between catholic music and liturgical music... liturgical music is the music we use in our liturgy but for catholic music it's music sung out of liturgy for worship of God. whomever discourages music of worship outside the compound of the church is also wrong. Remember we have prayers we use liturgically and prayers we do even at home. as long as there's enough guidance I don't see any problem with people sing on the streets. Rest they will also say praying the rosary outside the church compound will be wrong too 🤔
