My daughter and daughter in law have this weird rise up in tonal frequency or rising pitch at the end of a sentence, just when I expect the opposite tonal frequency,which I find really weird and comment about. My daughter picked it up after moving to NYC for college from SoCal. I don’t understand the purpose of it. My 27 y/o son definitely does not do that

This video and the previous one were very interesting and now I need to know if it happens to all languages or just to those with a more flexible vocal system. I haven't seen this in Spanish, but perhaps I haven't been paying enough attention.
