I’m a new mom to a 17 month old and you have made me less nervous of setting boundaries bc I never wanted to be “rude” but you have helped me understand how to be stern I love it!

we have a "no adults in the kids' rooms with the door closed" rule and one grandmother breaks this rule EVERY time she is around. She has even come in when we aren't home. Our kids are teens and one of them is minimal contact with her and she won't accept it. We argue over this all the time. We support our son 100%

I love how you affirm that IF your kid needed help you would be the one in there. ❤️

Ooooo I like you!!!!!!!! This is the strict stern straight forward attitude and tone parents need! Set your boundaries!! Kids safety means more than someone’s hurt feelings

90% on this is good but some of it comes across as accusatory. Any that I allow near my children I trust them 100% anyway

I'm a CSA survivor and after 29 years, I'm still living with the flashbacks and memories. I've recently found your videos and I appreciate them so much... I just tried to put into words why but I can't, please just know that you're making Mum's feel validated in their thoughts, feelings, and concerns.
I'm also learning from you how to word things to others and be assertive because most people don't see the potential dangers that I do or they think I'm being over protective or not letting my kids have fun.

I just find it odd that these conversations are needed with parents or relatives or friends, I don’t think I came into an instance where anything was said like this to people I knew was a child, because everyone I knew were nice! Not saying this shouldn’t be done, but it is difficult for some of us to comprehend that people have very different environments and experiences

This. Because regardless of safeguarding issues, teaching your kids to respect themselves, their space and boundaries really shapes them as a person. My mum had none with me and it leads to adults not able to advocate for themselves & staying firm on their boundaries !

Idk what others are seeing, I don’t see snarky or accusatory I see a vigilant, aware , protective mom.. ! And in these days more moms and dads need to step up and not worry about being rude over being their child’s (ren) protector and voice

My daughter loves asking for privacy at 3, even at goodwill she’ll ask for privacy and close herself in the clothing rack just for a moment alone 🤣😂
