Cheesy Beef Taco Cups Ingredients * 8 small flour tortillas * 1 lb (450 g) ground beef * 1 small onion, diced * 2 cloves garlic, minced * 2 tbsp taco seasoning * ¼ cup water * 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese * Cooking spray or melted butter Optional Toppings * Sour cream * Salsa * Diced tomatoes * Chopped cilantro * Jalapeños * Avocado Instructions 1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). 2. Cut each tortilla into 4-inch circles if needed, then press them into a greased muffin tin to form cups. Lightly brush with melted butter or spray with cooking oil. 3. Bake the tortilla cups for 5–7 minutes until they begin to crisp. 4. Meanwhile, cook the ground beef and onion in a skillet over medium heat until browned. Drain excess grease. 5. Add the garlic, taco seasoning, and water. Simmer for 2–3 minutes until the sauce thickens. 6. Fill each tortilla cup with the seasoned beef mixture. 7. Sprinkle generously with shredded cheddar cheese. 8. Bake for 8–10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the tortilla edges are golden brown. 9. Let cool for 2 minutes, then remove from the muffin pan. 10. Top with sour cream, salsa, cilantro, tomatoes, or avocado if desired, and serve warm.
