hey guys, I was feeling this in the moment and did what any sensible adult would do. I went and talked with the people I played with. and honestly, I think its just one of those things where my teammates and I just didnt synergize well. if you know me and watch my content, you know im a hard IGL. when I was in pro play, I hard IGL'd for sentinels. 7ftblckguy is also an IGL, and I didnt want to shut down or dismiss his ideas, especially since hes a smaller creator with less experience, I wanted to give him room to shine and not feel as though we were overshadowing him. I talked with 7ft after and I apologized, I think he is just young and excited to play, and I think that energy carried into our comms. that just made it really hard for me to get a word in. thats okay :) I dont think (anymore) that it was because of my gender. at least, not in an intentional way. I will continue to fight hard for women in esports, and I will no longer be afraid to be loud when I need to be. thank you all for the concern and love, ill hit the creator tournament slingshot dont worry ❤️

What she’s saying is valid. She brought up kingsman bc he’s a good player that people listen to regardless. She’s saying she’s better and doesn’t get the respect she deserves bc she’s a girl which is lowkey right. The amount of male ego or ego in general in this game is awful

It all boils down to men not really taking women seriously in video games. Which is crazy because Aramori was 100% the best player on her team with the most experience in Rivals. Super is a great player of course, but he peaked with Overwatch, which is paced way differently than Rivals

For those who lack common sense kingsman was brought of bc he is known to be talkative and “pushy” in comms. If you watch Aramori you’d know that she is very similar in that aspect. But bc he is a man, he will more often than not get listened to more. It’s simple.

People acting like aramori is a random or not a good igl are just proving her point. If I had aramori on my team I’d always let her have the final say on our plan or what we’re doing, and anyone with a brain would do the same unless there’s someone better than her on the team, which is unlikely
