@gardenwithsophia: Soil changes over time. Rain, crops, amendments, and pH shifts all affect it. Testing every 1–2 years keeps your garden thriving and your plants well‑fed. 🌱 #GardenWithSophia
I tested it once did what the “professionals “ told me to do and lost about 4 large plants… I decided to wing it after that and I realized I have a very “ green” thumb. I love my plants and they love me back.

Petty Argument :
It depends on what level you want to take your gardening to. Some people run into problems and scratch their heads about them. Then they ask others to solve the problem while offering minimal information. Other people want to know all the details so they are prepared when an issue presents itself. I test soil before I grow anything in it. I test it again every week or so. I have a nice digital tester though. If you don’t have one you should at least have it tested once by sending in a sample. You should also know what is in your soil. The amounts of sand, silt and clay matter when it comes to nutrient retention via the cation exchange capacity. Clay holds nutrients for your plants. It’s important. Test your soil.
