only ones who benefits AI usage is these ceo bosses. people lose jobs, game still costs 70€+, games aren't better, other than that they can pump AI slop cosmetics faster rate. which is benefit for corpos again

From what I’ve seen I can only think of 2 ways Ai improves gaming. The first is with horror games. With the users consent let it mimic your voice to your friends like mimesis does. Adds a layer of tension and fear. Or in souls like games where a boss can learn your moveset and adapt to you the same way you adapt to it. Other than that I can’t personally think of any.

Ai would be good in gaming obly if it is used as a function inside the game, as an example I would think of a learning monster, like a survival game where the monsters could adapt (more efficiently and more freely than a normal algorithm) to the player

Just saying the more these ”AAA” studios use ai slop the more likely they will slowly die out and open up space for indi devs and small studios who still consider game creation an art form. Obviously that hinges on consumers waking up to the slop, which is happening already. Just need to keep pushing indi dev love.

WE DO NOT HAVE GENERATIVE AI. at best we have massive LLMs that have learned to spit out answers we will accept and find intelligent. it can only regurgitate, not generate. calling it generative ai is a marketing ploy.
