I love Kate but it would have been a completely different movie. Kate is someone I can see actually wanting to be Miranda. Anne just has that Girl Nextdoor quality needed for Andy.

I love her but she wouldn’t be believable as the before make over Andy. She would give more Emily than Andy. Even more Miranda or maybe Andy’s best friend. Andy is not this bold girl and Kate gives bold and confident and put together and Andy needed a transformation which Anne pulls off flawlessly.
