Once on vacation we were in a remote part of West Virginia in a cabin. Very little cell service. We were driving into town to get groceries. When we got in the car I pulled out my phone and put in directions but it was taking the GPS a while to work. As we were rolling out of the driveway he suddenly slammed on the brakes to the point where my seatbelt engaged. I look at him confused and he yelled at me in the most condescending and nasty tone, “I don’t know where we are, CRYSTAL!!!” I was like what do you mean? I don’t know where I am either and I’m trying to get directions but it’s taking my phone a minute. I let it go and he continued to be nasty to me all the way into town. Slamming on brakes and jerking the car around. Later I asked why he was in a bad mood and he said, “I just know at any time you’re going to get mad and the day will be ruined.” Meanwhile I am the one walking on eggshells to keep the peace. They are master manipulators because I stayed for a year and half after that.

Duuuuude YES this happened to me so many times and it was so confusing why we would be in such a happy place and out of no where I would get silent treatment

My last vacation with my ex we spent two days sitting in the hotel doing NOTHING. We missed plans with friends...missed set times for activities...ALL OF IT. After the first day of this nonsense and me being cooped up, bored, irritated-I convinced him to take me to Walmart and I bought a bunch of drawing/art supplies. The next day when he cancelled all our plans again and just stayed in the room. I put on music and happily amused myself with art. Me being unbothered and not bored absolutely p1ssed him off.
