I loved the idea of tabbing but hated the idea of drawing on my books so I got clear sticky notes to stick on the pages to write on! 🥰

Thank you for this, i never understood what I was supposed to do. ive only ever tabbed one book and it has only two tabs.. both are a character telling the mc i hated to drop 💀.. I felt that so hard i had to mark it somehow 🤣🤣

I guess I just don’t understand why though? Like, do you sometimes go back through but only look at your tabbed pages? Or like look for a specific part or quote for some reason etc? I trade most my books back in for credit to my local used book store so I can’t do it anyways but I keep my god tier reads (and I’m picky with my god tier ratings) so sometimes I think I should annotate them next time I re-read them but again, I go back to why? I re-read them every few years and I’m gonna read the whole thing not just my favorite parts 😂

I tab everything with one color (it has to match the cover) and then separate it out by quote, vocabulary word, etc in an excel sheet. I have an excel workbook dedicated to my TBR, books in my library, books I’ve read for the year, all the books I’ve read, my kindle “wrapped” with all my annotations, and fav books ever read. Lmao I am such a nerd. 🤣🥰
