These are actually some of the best stock WMATA ever had. Why? Because they had Cold AC, 1000HP Traction motors vs the 750's today & they were easier to work on and lasted longer. Westinghouse and Rohr gave us something really special when we had these on the line.

I grew up on the orange line. And it was not until I was like 15 years old and started taking other lines that I realized that every line does not, in fact, have seat colors corresponding to the line track color. 😂
