It was a girl elimination night. If the villa decided between Bea or Melanie they’ve would’ve picked Bea to stay. They gave the vote to Corbin because they knew he’d save Melanie.

They gave Corbin because they didn’t want to risk Melanie potentially being sent home by the other islanders. Even though I think the most likely choice would be Corbin they didn’t want to take that risk. Personally, I would’ve preferred that Corbin go home, they bring in a new bombshell on Sunday, they have a recoupling in a few days and the girl not picked would be sent home.

I think it was also to show viewers that WE actually do not have power. Despite me viewing this recoupling as a the only real choices for each bombshells, there were alot of people who were explicitly stating they were voting in order to get (insert islander) kicked out. And I don't think this season is anything like last season, but I do think this was a power move from production on us to show us they actually have the power (alot of people were voting to specifically get it where Mel would go home.)

I agree! It wasn’t the voting that was wrong it was how producers manipulated the situation. I feel like Kenzie is also benefiting, she has yet to make a difficult decision. They’ve been made for her.

I understood that a girl was going home because of the numbers, but I also thought the islanders should’ve voted which girl gets to stay. I think because Mel is bringing the drama they had Corbin choose knowing he’d choose Mel. I didn’t want either one to go home, but I did want to see Bea explore outside of Gabriel.

Plus Beatrice connection was shaky anyway , we had no idea it was so deep between her and Gabe until now. Corbin has a strong connection with Kenzie and he’s willing to explore Melanie .
