Fantastic idea, hun.
I wish these idea were all consolidated into one website, multiple sellers, and people can actively stop trashing everything. This alone would cut down on those polystyrene balls or stuffing. I use clean old socks to stuff crochet projects.

i have a strong attachment to a lot of my stuffed animals and can't bring myself to get rid of any but I'm 33 and married so they can't all live in my bed lol someone mistakingly bought my son a bean bag cover instead of a filled chair so I use it to store all my stuffies and we use it as a chair. LOVE a multipurpose solution

could you do it with an empty bean bag?

You can also do this with decorative pillow covers! As long as it's got a zipper you can stuff it with clothing lol this is one of my absolute favorite small space storage hacks. It's ok to have a bunch of clothes on the bed as long as they are wrapped in something pretty!

I learned crochet about 3 years ago and the lovely darling lady that finally managed to teach me told me to keep all the ends I snip off, threads I tie off and scrap fabric I can't even use for doll clothes to stuff amigurumi. Absolutely changed my brain chemistry

heavy poufs are great for soft play for little kids. "heavy work" is excellent for motor development. also great for living room workouts in place of a medicine ball or kettle bell.

this is so cool, I need ❤️I have a lot of clothes that I'm not willing to part with yet, or stuff I keep around bc my weight fluctuates, but this seems like such a better storage system than just random boxes!!

Oh my gosh why didn’t I think of this sooner?? I can stuff my kids bean bags instead of buying more beans when they deflate

I made one years ago for my daughter‘s stuffies. She had so many stuffies but didn’t want to get rid of them.

I took the fabric off an old chaise longue, and the padding was horse hair and shredded old fabric. It was a delightful discovery.

I did try this once with a pouf from a retailer and my only gripe is that the clothes are really really heavy. They also are not bouncy, so don't retain their shape well, nor do they sit very well if you want to sit on them. It was a good way to store some clothes for awile, but I never really liked the way the pouf felt and it was extremely heavy to move around!
