my brother and pops were obsessed with this movie in the mid 2000s. i swear they watched it like every 6 weeks. i was sick of it. my 8 y/o brain just wanted to watch some cartoons, yanno? so i scratched the cd with keys, knives, my nails and such expecting it damage the disk. 2ish weeks pass and they finally go for their routine watch. i lurk in the kitchen shadows, anticipating the cd to be corrupted so they couldn’t watch it. guess what..the mfn movie played like nothing ever happened. i was livid.

I went to see Miami Vice as a first date with my now wife, and we left about a half hour in because she couldn’t follow along with what was happening. I went back a couple days later to see the rest, and really dug it - I was so bummed to leave that first time.
