If you know me, you’ll know I’m firmly Team Rice and I’m always trying to convince everyone that every meal is better with a side of rice. I love making different types of rice to accompany my dishes, whether it’s something simple and comforting or packed with flavour. And this is exactly what I did while I was in Pakistan. There’s something so special about cooking and sharing food together, and this recipe brings back those memories and the fun I had making this with my dewrani. Here’s all you need for this recipe: - 2 cups washed rice - 2tbsp ghee/oil of choice - 1 large onion, finely chopped - 1tbsp ginger and garlic paste - Salt and pepper to taste - 1tsp chilli flakes - 1tsp chicken powder/stock - 2tbsp tomato puree - 3 cups water I can’t wait to share more of my favourite rice recipes with you all! #rice #pakistanifood
