Since you want to judge and compete.... try being a gen X single mom pre-internet, who raised her kids alone with no man, while running the household, building a career, and not being able to run to the internet for every little thing. we *actually* had to figure it all out on our own.

As a GenX parent, we really did do it alone and though I tell my daughters they too could...I would never make them. I'm ALL in ALWAYS....bc I know what doing it alone felt like. Having said that, there is a healthy balance...I believe that a lot of younger moms act like they are the children who need to be pampered. All this for me is for my family is for the most part BS. If you need to be pampered and high maintenance to be a good Mama....than maybe you just weren't ready for that kind of pure selfless love yet.🖤

To be fair the Gen X mums I know all did do it all themselves including working full time and needing childcare. The house prices were definitely better though!

I feel like they didn't do it alone. they would drop the kids of at grandma's or their sisters. they had a village and that is not the cas for most working moms these days

I’m Gen X. Haven’t read all the comments, but the younger millennial mums d3finitely have more help with kids and house than most of us. We were still in the era of ‘that’s women’s work’ when we met our husbands, and trends were set before we were olde nought to question them. I don’t think any generation has it easier, but from a Gen X working full time, doing all the housework and child rearing, if you feel alone, if you think you e got it tough.. there are lots of people in the same situation regardless of generation.
