thats a dangerous generalisation, many avoidants are aware of their patterns and feel bad, even tho they can' take accountability yet. they may well regret losing you, they just can't help you or themselves. Don't go back, but don't automatically think they villianize you either. You gave love. You did well. Now love yourself, regardless of their war with themselves.

Never have and never will, I understand her decision, and I have looked into my flaws and done research on both ends to understand her more after the break up and myself, iam an avoident but definitely not what the avoidant that I see all over this app she broke up with me because of my avoidance and I’m working on it to better myself and be better for her even if she still doesn’t want me right now.

I JUST DID THIS 10 MINUTES AGO!!! She thought of every little thing to throw in my face to try and make me feel bad but weren’t valid points. A funny one was she said I held her back from making more money and I asked how. She brought up a time from LAST YEAR when I told her the job she was thinking about taking might not be a career she would enjoy. (It was being a truckers helper going state to state) She always feels trapped if she’s out for too long but now I trapped her to stay at her current job and that’s why she has no money?? Btw she’s had the same job this whole time. I’ve changed jobs because I wasn’t making as much as I wanted to. Am I tripping or is this valid?? Btw that was the only time for jobs I had an input about.
