@loxy_visuals: | Every June, the internet remembers men exist emotionally. “Men should cry.” “It’s okay to cry.” “Real men show emotion.” And then June ends. But what nobody talks about is what happens when a man actually does open up and the room goes quiet. When he shows vulnerability and it’s used against him. When he reaches out and finds nothing there. We’ve normalised the statement but never built the structure behind it. Men aren’t struggling because they don’t know how to feel. They’re struggling because every time they do, the world either dismisses it, weaponises it, or reduces it to a seasonal conversation in June. Mental health for men goes beyond tears. It lives in the things left unsaid. In the isolation dressed up as strength. In the smile that convinces everyone he’s fine when he’s anything but. This Men’s Mental Health Awareness Month; don’t just tell a man to cry. Show up. Stay. Listen. Mean it. That’s where healing actually starts. 🖤 Thank you so much/ @KingDavid 平和 for this amazing piece 🎶 #MensMentalHealth #MentalHealthAwarenessMonth #LoxyVisuals #CinematicStorytelling
