Read books, give her lots of sensory opportunities.... and then, find a hobby. You can bake, garden, sew, or whatever when they're at that age.

I'm more of a home body anyway. 😂 I live in a very small town without much to do, but if I DO feel like I need to leave the house, I call my sister-in-law and we take our kids to the splash pad. Also, having mom friends does help a lot because they are bored too and you can invite each other over and have coffee! But I know it can be hard to connect sometimes. I get it though! Sometimes I have to get creative and it feels like there's only so much I can do!

If I could give any advice-get back into a hobby! And do that hobby around you kids. I just started getting back into to crochet and it is a lot harder with my kids now since they are not used to me doing it. They want to get involved (which is great) but it kind of makes the process harder 😂

I’ve been a stay at home wife for 3.5 years (SAHM to be in Nov) and Im NEVER bored. Ever. In fact, Im so fkin busy all the time my husband makes fun of me that Im busier than him. I have SO MANY hobbies, I never have enough time to do them all. I plan to just bring my baby along with me as I do my hobbies at home and tell her about them as I do them. I read, I sew, I garden, I cross stitch, I collect postcards and stamps, I play board games, I do puzzles, and so much more

I was bored because I needed interaction with other adults. I used to do a meet up with other moms & babies once a week. Meet at each others homes or at park, play gym

Absolutely not. I have a two year old, 17 year old and a 19 year old who has his own place. I work a very part time job a few days a week so get grown up socialization on my hubbys days off. I thrift and resale on Poshmark, eBay, Mercari, FB marketplace and Vinted. I homestead, raise chickens, sell eggs, make my own home remedies, and have a garden and can food when it’s ready. If anything I do 10 times as much as I did when I was working full time with just two teenagers in the house.
