If we not think critically or ask for the deeper meaning or context, overall just critical thinking for most things we will be always at risk believing something that someone told us is true without realising that it could be false or it could have slighty different meaning. Hadiths can be authentic and true but god wouldnt encourage us to always question and think without a good reason and yes just because scholars couldve done a good job explaining an authentic hadith, doesnt mean someone will understand it truly without questioning it first. I think the fundament of islam is always peace and having a good heart, without violence. But I wouldnt have this opinion if I hadnt questioned everything (and still do of course!)
