@itsautocircle_: "My window stopped working." That was the customer's complaint. Simple enough, right? Most people would immediately assume the window motor was bad. And honestly, that would have been a reasonable guess. But car faults don't always tell the full story at first glance. After spending time testing the system, we discovered something interesting. Yes, the window motor was faulty. But that wasn't the only problem. The body control module responsible for controlling that window had also failed. This is where many repairs become expensive. Not because the fault is impossible to fix... But because the actual cause wasn't properly identified from the beginning. Since a replacement module wasn't readily available, we had to think differently. Using two 5-pin relays and a proper wiring conversion, we restored the window operation and got everything working again 🔧 One thing I've learned from working on cars: The symptom you see is not always the problem you're dealing with. Sometimes a window that won't move is more than a bad motor. Sometimes a fault sends you on a journey before it reveals itself. That's why diagnosis will always be more important than guessing. #cardiagnosis #lexusrx300 #autotechnician #carcare #creatorsearchinsights
One mistake many car owners make is assuming the first faulty part they see is the only problem.
Sometimes the real fault is hiding behind another fault.
That's why proper diagnosis can save both time and money 🔧
