Amen. Prayers for your little one and your whole family. Nicu nurse 28 years in a level 3 100 bed nicu. I live my life differently knowing how short life can be. God Bless

Caregiver strain is more difficult than people understand. You’re being pulled in multiple directions, and you still have guilt for feeling like you should be here or there, doing more, etc. After Tate comes home, and things settle down, you will reach a new normal. I promise. You’re dividing yourself between three people. Be sure to take care of yourself.

It’s so hard having a baby in the NICU. My first NICU baby was hard and thought I was more mentally prepared for the second but still had my emotional meltdown of not bringing my baby home when I left the hospital and all the guilt of not being there with them enough. Thinking of y’all!

My son was in NICU for four days after he was born with cleft lip and palate. It was the hardest days so understand that feeling. Prayers to your baby and your entire family!❤️
