ABSURDISM :
imma be honest mp is prolly my favorite anime but when i think of serizawa i kinda think his development is overrushed wich doesn't make justice of the themes he represents since depression traits are not that easy to get rid off wich i feel like in the anime he gets out of it rly quickly, we could say he was manipulated/got a figure under the control of toichiro so he got a new environement when mob freed him out of toichiro and that could be the reason he drastically got better but idk to me its unclear, sorry for lack of good wording ☝️

tbh i didn’t like how he had a complete 180 within an episode, pent up emotions and trauma doesn’t just go away, he would have to have years of therapy to get to where he was at the end of the show
