I've always thought that River's speech at the beginning is a very romantic moment. But I came to realise that she's actually telling the hurtful truth. Doctor was there purely by accident. Most of the times when River got herself in danger she managed to save herself, without the doctor. Doctor is not in love enough to be standing there with her. Yeah, now I cry even more watching this scene
